Wax on Washi
Each encaustic monotype is a single unique original print. No printing press is involved. The process involves applying pigmented wax to a heated palette surface. The paper is laid onto the palette, the warm wax is picked up by the paper. Some pieces involve multiple lifts and some have additional work on the surface of the print either with encaustic wax, pencil, or India ink.
Please note that the listed prices do not include the price of a frame.
