Artist Statement
No. 5 continues the visual conversation within the Opening Up Series. Layers of torn and collaged paper, pulled from hot wax marks, form an abstract narrative of reconnection. It speaks to the complexity of emerging—emotionally, physically—after a prolonged period of distancing.
