Artist Statement
As part of my Opening Up Series, No. 2 captures the push and pull of freedom and fear. The expressive gestures made on the Roland HotBox carry the urgency of movement after stillness. Pieces of washi paper echo the fragmented way we re-entered public life—piece by piece, not quite whole.
